Description

These simple yet indulgent flourless peanut butter cookies rely on just three pantry staples to create a rich, chewy treat. Perfect for quick baking sessions, they offer a deep roasted nut flavor with delightfully crisp edges.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter (creamy or natural)
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a large cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, vigorously stir together the peanut butter, sugar, and egg until a thick dough forms.
  3. Drop the dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto the prepared sheet and use a fork to press a crisscross pattern onto each.
  4. Bake for 8 minutes until edges are set, then let cool completely on the pan before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For the best texture, ensure your egg is at room temperature before mixing. If you find the dough too soft to handle, chilling it for 15 minutes in the refrigerator can make scooping and marking with a fork much easier.
